Kenya Southern Baptist Convention (KSBC) is an Assembly of Autonomous Local Congregations through Regional, Sub-Regional and Zone Fellowship of Baptist Churches in Kenya and the World. It was registered in Kenya with the Registrar of Societies as a Denomination in 2005.
Uniqueness in Registration
KSBC was registered at a time when the government had slowed down registering churches and this will forever be attributed to the provident Hand of the Almighty God. blessing from God. Just like Jesus picked two brothers to His Ministry when He identified faithfulness in them, KSBC was founded by two brothers . Bishop Dr. Zaccheause Mwangangi and Rev. Dr. Shem Ngiki had both resigned from Government to serve God and served with Baptist Convention of Kenya (BCOK) before God called them to founding KSBC.
